Red Cross At Opawa
Appreciation of the work of members during the year was expressed by the president of the Opawa subcentre of the Red Cross Society (Mrs W. G. Taylor) at the annual meeting. Officers elected were; president, Mrs W. G. Taylor; vice-presidents, Mesdames G. N. Watson, R J. Loader, R. Jarden, T. L. Carey; secretary, Mrs F. Rhodes; assistant secretary, Mrs P. Hollander; treasurer, Mrs F. Polhill; assistant treasurer, Mrs H. Smith; committee, Mesdames Dalgleish, R. A. Ferguson, K. Kyngdon, H. E. Leech, H. V. Mathias, H. Smith. K. Whitlow, D. Whiteley, Misses E. Bowron, A. M. Pycroft; liaison officer, Miss H. Frazer; auditor, Mrs F. Rhodes.
