The firm of Defosses and Duvivier (New Zealand), Ltd., is proud to participate actively in the world-wide campaign of wool promotion. The company is supplying to the wool trade mainly, and occasionally to woolgrowers many services on a purely commission basis In its works at Woolston highlv trained staff sort and scour wool to a standard well recognised all over the world The steady increase in processing. since the company was established is the best proof of that statement. Recently, the company added bleaching to its activities’ This is an entirely new operation in New Zealand. It consists of immersing the scoured wool in a mild solution of hydrogen peroxide before its normal drying Special machinery and care are essential to ensure a satisfactory result in a whiter wool for an indefinite time. Ltd., has further plans to increase the scope of its services f iy doing so it believes that the country as a whole w.ll benefit, mainly by obtaining an enhanced value for exported wool, which remains the main source of foreign currency. —Advt
