LOCOMOTIVE TAKEN
Seven Youths On Charge (N.Z. Press Association) N PLYMOUTH, March 4. Seven youths were arrested by the police on Saturday in connexion with the removal of an A.B. railway locomotive from the steam engine shed at the Waitara railway station. The engine was taken for a jaunt along the Waitara-Lepperton railway line earlier in the day. The youths will appear in the New Plymouth Magistrate’s Court tomorrow charged with the “unlawful conversion of a railway locomotive.”
