Two Centennials

The Christchurch City Council has to share with the Canterbury Rowing Club a special service in the Christchurch Cathedral on March 4 to mark the centennial of local government in toe city. The Bishop of Christchurch (the Rt. Rev A. K Warren) was approached by the council recently for a special service and found that he had already given a commitment to the rowing club, which is also 100. Both events will be marked at the one service.
