Sir, —I see by Tuesday’s issue Uiat one of the merchants would welcome the Government’s helping them with the present rise of 2d per man per sack the oystermen are asking for. I wish this were possible because, while the Government was on the job, it eould also look into the way the merchants at Bluff are monopolising one of the greatest money-making businesses in this country. If any responsible party is interested I would be only too pleased to furnish true facts of the set-up that has been reigning at Bluff for a number of years.—Yours, etc.. R. DIXON February 20, 1962
