c—- : PHENOLS I Weedazol "D" is a non-selective, essentially foliage absorbed weedkiller that is specifically formulated for drain maintenance. In addition to Dowpon and | Amitrol, Weedazol "D" contains the Sodium Salt 2, 4-D. This ingredient controls buttercup, watercress, rushes, plantain, monkey musk, docks, tiger weed, thistles and convolvulus-—weeds often found in drains. Supervised tests carried out on hundreds of New Zealand farms showed that Weedazol "D" controls drain vegetation for at least 3 months. Where climatic and growth conditions were suitable even longer periods of control resulted. Best results are achieved when Weedazol "D" is applied during the peak growth periods of spring and autumn, when weed and grass seeds have germinated. Under most conditions two applications a year will keep drains and ditches fully functional. Ask for our technical advice on your weed problem. F | VON watkinsF 1 FOR DITCH BANKS »■■■ ■*!
