Master Dalmain. which is under offer at 2000 guineas to Mr J. Y. Scales, of Christchurch, worked well at Wingatui this morning when he sprinted three furlongs in 40 2-ssec, 30 feet out on the course proper with the track cutting out. He was then subject to a further veterinary examination. Negotiations are still proceeding with the Alonzo gelding’s Central Otago owner-breeder. Mr D. M. Kelly.
