Car Abandoned On Tracks

NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 14. A brand new light English car was found abandoned across the main trunk railway tracks at Bell road crossing, near Taumarunui railway station, today. The car had been taken from the premises of the Taumarunui Motor Company.

Intruders broke into the premises during the night and removed a quantity of motor accessories They also took the car, which had arrived only the previous day from Wellington. Not long after it was found a goods train was due at the crossing.
