MAORI CHURCH AT LITTLE RIVER —Built nearly 100 years ago, on a hillside behind the Little River township, this church has fallen into disrepair and services have not been held in it for 20 years. It is hoped to arouse the interest of residents in its removal to a site in the township and its restoration as a historic link with the earliest settlement of the d istrict.
