N.Z. Considering Participation

(N Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13

The Government was considering the question of New Zealand’s participation in the United Nations' bond issue, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said today. “Mr Turner, the United Nations controller, who is responsible for United Nations financing and budgeting, is at present home in New Zealand on leave,” said Mr Holyoake “He is, however, taking the opportunity to make official approaches to the New Zealand and Australian Governments and he will be coming to see me in two or three days time. “We have also been fully informed from our New York office on all developments."
