Social Credit Seeks “Facts”
<N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 14. A call for “all the facts” relating to Industrial agreements and for the Government to “stop worrying about the extent to which it can lay blame at the Labour Party’s feet.” is made in a statement by the Dominion council of the Social Credit Political League. “What we want to know is not only toe extent of protection bound into the agreements, but the reason for the lack ot provision for New Zealand capital in many cases.” said the league’s president (Miss H M. King).
“There is a growing fear among the public that vast overseas concerns are using New Zealand entirely under their own terms to extend their industrial empires.
“We do not agree with establishment at any price Nor do we agree that there should be 14 months' delay before toe Government decides on the pros and cons of any previous agreemnts. such as the Nelson cotton miR." ...
