BALI HAT, the Queen Mother’s gift horse, which recently returned to New Zealand to spend his retirement on the property of his former owner, Sir Ernest Davis, has a liking for peppermints. The famous English actress, Vivien Leigh, took a good supply with her when she called to see the horse at Longford Farm during her visit to Auckland la* week. Bali Ha'i seems to be enjoying the peppermints in this photograph.
