Chevron Hilton Loses Deposit

The West Australian Government has no power under its agreement with the Chevron Hilton group to extend the period of payment of the balance of deposit due on the site of the Chevron Hotel project in Perth The Premier (Mr Brand) said yesterday that the Governmen’’s legal advisers had given this report to Cabinet The deadl e was yesterday He said the Government would have talks with Chevron principals, who had asked for an extension of time The Chevron group has technically forfeited its £2250 deposit and rights to the hotel site in Perth.
