Issue Of 1:3 At Par (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. Ivon Watkins, Ltd., New Plymouth, manufacturer of igricultural chemicals, is to lift paid capital by £15,138 by an issue of 5s ordinary A shares. The new shares will be issued at par in the ratio of one-for-three, books closing on February 13. They will be payable 2s 6d on application by March 31 and the balance by September 30. The issue will raise paid capital to more than £193.000. In the year ended March 31, the company earned a net profit slightly higher at £27.588.

Sales improved by £47,515 to £790.524 The chairman. Mr W G. Watts, said in his report that the company expected a substantial increase in sales to the Fiji and Islands market.

A dividend of 10 per cent, was maintained for the year, taking £17,675.
