WELLINGTON, January 22. Tile Riccarton jockey, N. Eastwood, had one of his greatest days at Trentham today when he rode three winners.

He achieved a hat trick by winning on Flying Time (January Handicap). Anchor 'Summer Handicap), and Gay Filou (Ruapehu) m atic-

cessive attempts. Altogether he had six rides, but did not manage to reach a place in the other three races. Stakes earned by Eastwood’s three winners amounted to £3510. On Wairarapa Cup day last month, Eastwood rode the winners of five successive races at Tauherenikau. One wa? Flying Time.
