Meeting Of Seventh Day Adventists (NZ Press Association) AUCKLAND. January 18. A small town built entirelv of canvas has risen on the paddocks of Haskeil Park, Ardmore. Living there until January 27 will be 320 families who are attending the North New Zealand conference of Seventh Day Adventists. A big marquee will seat 3000 and a smaller one for children will hold 350 The conference was opened i tonight and an address was (given by the president. Pastor F L Stokes Other speakers during the conference will be Pastor F. G Clifford, president of the Australasian division, Dr. R. V Knight from Queensland, and Pastor W. A. Scharffenberg, world secretary of the Internationa’ Temperance Association.
