House Swept Away

LEVIN, January 15.
A five-roomed house at Ohau near Levin was s&ept away by the flooded Ohau River about nine o'clock on Saturday night. The house, 75 years old, and in quite good repair, was broken up by the flood waters and parts were distributed over farm land. The tenant, Mr Simon Kuiti, had removed his furniture from the house earlier.
