Mangere Has Water Again
(NZ. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Jan. 15. Mangere's water supply troubles were over today after a week of serious leakages which cut the supply completely for long periods to houses on higher levels in the town. At times 5000 other homes received a mere trickle from their taps. It is thought the troubles followed shrinkage in the ground because of the long dry spell.
Real Estate Institute.— Passes in the 1961 examinations of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand were gained by Messrs M. H. Biddick, G. R. Clothier. B Cooper, J. J. Lagan, F. J. Menzies and A. N. Staples and Mrs M. I. Stempa. Partial passes were gained by Messrs G. G. Clarke, C. W Dehn, F. G. Drewery, G. H. Jones, K. R. Miller. R. Mitchell, and W. H. Todd.
