Free Beer At Harold Park

(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) SYDNEY, January 15.

The New South Wales Trotting Club will supply free beer for patrons at the Harold Park meeting on Saturday, February 3—the five hundredth night meeting at the track. To celebrate the occasion the club will issue tickets for two free beers to patrons as they enter the course. Bars on the course will close at 10 p.m. Although night trotting was introduced to Melbourne two years earlier than in Sydney, Saturday's meeting at the Melbourne Show Grounds was only the four hundred and twenty-seventh conducted by the Trotting Control Board since its inception in 1947.
