Watersiders’ Sports
Watersiders from South Island ports will hold their annual summer inter-port sports tournament at Christchurch next week. These activities, which will consist of cricket, outdoor bowls and golf will commence at 8.30 a.m. next Monday with cricket at Hagley Park and bowls at the Woolston Working Men's Club. The Mayor (Mr G. Manning) is expected to open the tournament.
