Vaccine For Philippines

The United States Air Force was flying 10,000 litres of cholera vaccine to the Philippines, a United States Air Force spokesman said in Japan today. A C-130 Hercules transport left yesterday with the vaccine, United Press International reported from Tokyo. Another shipment of the same size would be sent later. ‘

The vaccine was a gift from the United Nations to the Philippines, where a cholera epidemic already had taken 1372 lives, said U.P.I.
