Work On Mill Continuing

(N.Z Press Association) NELSON. January 15. Work on what was to have been a cotton mill was still continuing today at Annesbrook. Nelson. The clerk of works (Mr W. Jefferson) said work would continue until he had received notice officially that it was to cease. The boiler weighing 50 tons left England by ship and is expected early next month. Mr Jefferson said that when the present building was completed just over two acres would have been covered by one roof. The cost to this stage, without machinery, would be about £350,000.
