Water Supply Fault Found
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKI-AND. January 11. Manukau County Council staff discovered at 3 am. today a major water pipe line fault which has left households on higher levels at Mangere without water. The fault was repaired in just over two hours this morning, but it is believed there are other breaks in the system. Market gardeners had their water supply restored to them this morning in order to save their young plants.
O’Brien Married. Dr. Conor O’Brien and Miss Marie MacEntee were married late today at the Carmelite Church of Our Lady of the Scapular in New York.—(New York, January 8.)
