“Would Not Be Considered” (N .Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SYDNEY, Jan. 10. Directors of Australian Oil and Gas Corporation. Ltd., have informed the Stock Exchange that no offer has been received for the company’s capital nor had any offer been considered at any 'time. “No sueh offer would be considered at this time nor would the board consider acceptance or recommend it to shareholders,” they said. Reply The statement was issued in reply to a Stock Exchange inquiry on January 5, when A.O.G. shares jumped 7s 9d to 64s (Australian). Some rumours had suggested that A.O.G. might be a takeover subject from its partner. Union Oil Development, California.
