West Coast.—Moderate variable winds, mainly westerly; cloudy with occasional showers in South Westland, elsewhere partly cloudy; temperatures mild. Outlook: some scattered showers. Marlborough and Nelson.—Light to moderate northerlies predominating; partly cloudy and warm. Outlook: partly cloudy. A few isolated showers likely. Canterbury.—Moderate, variable winds, mainly southerlies; partly cloudy with a few isolated showers chiefly in the south; temperatures moderate to mild. Outlook: partly cloudy. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
