Banderole the beaten favourite on the first day. should improve on that effort in the Malone Memorial, the first leg of the T.A.B. double, on the second day of the Stratford Racing Club's meeting. After tailing the field early. Banderole made up a lot of ground and he finished third two lengths and three-quarters behind the winner, having spoiled his chance by running about on the turn.
