COMMERCIAL Fresh Support For Oils In Melbourne
Oils attracted renewed support in trading on the Melbourne Stock Exchange yesterday after the profit taking of the day before, and closed actively higher. Sydney trading in oils was steady.
Tn Melbourne investment Shares held ready to firm levels. Australian Guarantiee Corporation gained Is 3d to 17s 3d. Australian Oil and Gas closed 8s 9d up at 645. The market was uneven, trading moderate and key industrials irregular on the Sydney Stock Exchange. Meta Is and Commonwealth Bonds were firm while uraniums and textiles were steady.
