INVERCARGILL, Jan. 4. Tne stable mates and halfbrothers Melotone and Melodic, both trained by J. Langford at Invercargill, will be tne favourite TIA.B. double combination on the second day of the Southland Racing Club’s summer meeting on Saturday. The double will be on the Murihiku and Birchwood Handicaps. Melodic is also an acceptor for the first leg but is to start in the Birchwood Handicap, for which Andalusia is a doubtful runner.
