Rebel Camps Destroyed

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LISBON, January 3.

Three training camps for the instruction of insurgents in Angola had been destroyed in Mawuela, northern Angola, the Portuguese Lusitania news agency reported early today. Many insurgents were killed and others escaped to the Congo Republic, Lusitania said.

The Portuguese armed forces also surrounded and "eliminated” a large group of insurgents near Capuco, northern Angola, the agency said.
