DRAPERY SHOP ENTERED
Goods Worth £lOO Stolen Goods valued at more than £lOO were stolen when intruders broke into the premises of the South New Brighton Drapery between 5 p.m. on Thursday and 8.30 am. yesterday. A rear window was broken to gain entry and knitting wool, shirts, skirts and materials stolen. The proprietor of the shop, Mr D. J. May. said last evening that because of business he had not been able to make a stocktaking check to ascertain exactly the quantity of goods stolen. The shop, one of the group on the corner of Bridge street and Estuary road, was the only one broken into. The police are investigating.
