NEW BOW FOR WAITEMATA

With a new bow fitted to replace the plates crushed in a collision off California on October 26. the Union Steam Ship Company's cargo ship Waitemata arrived at Auckland yesterday Made at the Bethlehem Steel Works, San Francisco, within a fortnight, the unit went on “like a piece of meccano.' said Captain W Hill.
