AIRLINES IN EUROPE
New Group Planned (N.Z Press LONDON. December 27 An agreement for direct co-operation between the French. German. Belgian and Italian airlines is expected to be signed shortly, according to the “Daily Telegraph " The group—to be named Air Union—was expected to come into operation in April Hie object of the arrangement was to reduce overhead expenses and to integrate services, engineering facilities and the ordering of aircraft By introducing greater efficiency the group should present stiffer opposition to other airlines, particularly British European Airways.
