OFFICER CADETS CHOSEN

Two Women Among 12 Trainees Two women are among the 12 young soldiers who have been accepted for Regular officer cadetships with the New Zealand Army by a selection board which sat at TTentham Camp recently. They are Corporal W. I. J. Row, of Ohakune, and Temporary Sergeant W. Payne, of Victoria, Australia. Both will receive their officer training at Army Schools. Waioum Camp, and at Burnham Camp. The men are second Lieutenant E. I. Manuera (Kaitaia>. Corporals A. Bracey (Wellington) and C. J. Bain (Christchurch), Privates G. M. Corkin (Auckland), M. F. Dodson (Christchurch). M. E Rumble (Hamilton), M. R. Fariand (Auckland), T. Culley (Kaitaia), I. M. A. McIntosh (Whakatane) and R, J. McGill (Omata). Decisions on which cadets will train at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and which at the Officer Cadet School Portsea, will be made soon.
