POLICE ARREST GIRL
A girl aged ’7 was arrested yesterday and will be charged in the Magistrate s Court tomorrow with harbouring a younger girl who escaped from the Girls’ Training Centre at Burwood. The girl who escaped from the centre was returned there early yesterday evening. She had been absent only a few days. Later in the evening three other girls were reported missing from the centre. She police yesterday also nd two girls who had escaped from another institution in the city, and later questioned two men about the girls’ escape. Inquiries are proceeding.
