Teller Calls For Tests

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BOSTON, Dec. 19. The recent Soviet nuclear tests indicated that the Soviet Union was ahead of the United States in atomic weapons, the well-known nuclear physicist. Dr Edward Teller, said last night. He called for immediate resumption of testing in the atmosphere by the United States. There was also reason to believe the Soviet Union had developed more powerful, lighter and more easily de-

livered nuclear weapons than the United States, Dr. Teller warned.
