Traffic Movement Examined Traffic that formerly used the Durham street level crossing was now distributed equally between Montreal street and Colombo street, said the traffic engineer of the Christchurch City Council (Mr H Surtees' yesterday. Mr Surtees said the buildup of Christmas traffic made it difficult to get an accurate finding. "The movement of traffic in the area is more or less as predicted.” he said.
