Dec. 16 Flash Elorde of the Philippines scored a sensational first-round knock-out against Sergio Caprari, of Italy, for his third successful defence of has world junior lightweight championship tonight, the Associated Press reported. Caprari went down three times, the first for a count of three. Elorde was after him immediately, and after a sharp exchange dropped the Italian for an eight-count. The third-time, the dazed challenger fell halfway through the ropes and signalled to bis manager he could not continue.
