N.Z.-Bred Taboo Swabbed

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copynont; MELBOURNE. Dec. 17 The New Zealand-bred Taboo, the brilliant all-the-way u-inner of the Heath Handicap at Caulfield yesterday, was swabbed by the stewards after the race. Taboo (9/2) scored an easy win over another New Zealand horse, Havelock (5/2). by five lengths. The favourite, Mollendo (2/1), was a further four lengths away third. The swabbing of Taboo followed the new policy of Victoria Racing Club stewards to swab any horse they wish during a race meeting.
