SALVATION ARMY YOUTH OFFICER

Course At London College Major J. C. Waite, Salvation Army divisional youth secretary for the CanterburyWestland division, has been chosen to attend the International College for Officers in London. He will leave Christchurch early next year. The college draws its delegates from all parts of the world. It conducts two or three sessions each year, but New Zealand sends only one representative a year. Major Waite has been in Christchurch for the last three years. He held a similar post in Wellington and has also worked on the editorial staff of the “War Cry.” The Canterbury-Westland divisional commander. Lieu-tenant-Colonel A. E. Albiston. said Major Waite’s trip will give him a background for his future work in New Zealand. ,
