Lightning Strikes Flex
(N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, Dec. 17. A flash of forked lightning passed through the open window of a house belonging to Mr K. H. Crawford, at Whatitiri, struck a hanging electric light flex and burnt through it No fuses were blown. A carpenter standing close by was unhurt, but says he felt the tremendous heat.
