Evidence finished yesterday in the hearing of a claim by the official liquidator of International Vending Machines Pty. Ltd. (Mr Charles A. Law) against the former directors of the company. The official liquidator' is asking the Court for an order compelling Louis Steen, of Dover Heights, Sydney, and his son, Joseph Steen, also of Dover Heights, to repey £200,000 to the company. It is alleged that they negotiated an invalid loan between I.VM Pty. Ltd., and A. M. Holdings Pty. Ltd, in June. 1060, so that the latter company could buy shares in I.VM The hearing was adjourned.
