Indecent Assaults On Pupils
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, November 30. Ln view of the evidence, bail would not be allowed, ' Mr J. G. Warrington, S.M.. ; said in the Magistrate’s , Court today after the police had outlined three charges of indecent assault on a male against Charles Leonard Ed- ; ward Cox, aged 53, a former music master at King Edward Technical College. ■ Cox, who pleaded guilty to : all charges, was convicted on ■ each and remanded in custody for sentence. Detective-Sergeant E. R. Tyson said Cox had been dismissed from tlhe college , on October 20 after an in- ; vestigation of complaints ; from three students. Cox " had admitted the offences.
