TOOK 6000 HOURS TO BUILD.—This scale model of a steam locomotive (Princess Royal, London-Midlands-Scottish) took Mr J. O. S. Miller, of 39 June street, Timaru, 6000 hours to make in his spare time. Mr Miller, who has been a member of the model engineering movement for 25 years in Dunedin, Christchurch, and Timaru, is shown manipulating the controls at a display organised last week-end by the South Canterbury Model Engineering Society.
