Ordeal’s Trial Cancelled
Ordeal's trial against time over one mile at New Brighton on Saturday has been cancelled. This was decided yesterday after discussions between the New Brighton Trotting Club and Ordeal’s .part-owner and trainer, W. A. Bradley. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club has included a match race over one mile from a flying start in the programme for its meeting on January 1, and the New Brighton club felt it would be unfair to take interest from that event by running a time trial Also, the rain which has fallen this week is expected to be against a fast time being recorded by Ordeal.
