“Presbytery Week” Planned

Primarily to give Presbyterians in the area an insight into the workings of the Presbytery and "to extend the horizons of the individual parishes in Christchurch,” a "Presbytery week” will be held at the end of January or the beginning of March. This will coincide with the visit of the president of the World Presbyterian Alliance (Dr. R. Lloyd). The week will begin with a sermon explaining the needs of the Presbytery, its functions, and how congregations could stare in its work. Town and country congregations are. to meet for a social hour. A youth rally, an evening service fot' all congregations, and a cricket match are among the other activities suggested.
