Damian and Guiseppe were to have left tart evening for Aucktand after competing at tfje New Zealand Cup meethw at Addiwftoci Damian had only one start a* the meeting, finishing unplaced in the New Zeeland Cup. He was sore after th®race and although the leg responded well to treatment « was decided not to .risk producing him again. Guiseppe raced well at the meeting, hte best effort be in; a third to Looks way and Aldora in the Oilivier Handicap on the second day He finished fburth In the Smithson Handicap on Satorday. Nottsdug definite has been decided about the future racing of Damian and Guiseppe, but their owner trainer. L. J. FL Barrett, said on Saturday it was unlikely they would compete in the Iriter-Dominton Championship Series at Perth. However, it was possible they would be taken to Melbourne for rich races there about Christmas. If the trip to Melbourne did not eventuate, both horses might be brought south to race in the Dunedin Festival Cup. -
