BULLER HOLIDAY BOOKINGS

: All Accommodation Heavily Taxed tProm Out Own Reporter) WESTPORT, November 26. i There are indications of a : record number of visitors to i the Buller district during the i Christmas holiday period. All ; permanent accommodation at : the camp operated at Cape > Foulwind by the Buller i branch of the Automobile Association (Canterbury) has been booked out for some time, while there is a good demand for motels. Already some hotels at Westport, those catering for patrons at the Westport Trotting Club’s meeting on December 26 and 27, have full books. Besides the trots, there is to be a regatta and fireworks display at Westport during the holidays, while it is possible that another beach car- ! nival may be held at Carter’s Beach. Provision can be made for camping parties at that resort, most of the amenities at the camp being available for such visitors.
