Duties are inspectorial, inclding ante-mortem and postmortem inspection of stock. Work is interesting with good working conditions. A minimum of two years' secondary education is preferred. Previous experience at Meat W'orks is not essential. Commencing salary is up to £749 p.a. (£l4 7s 3d week), according to age of applicant, and provided the Inspector is aged 21. there are annual increments subject to passing the Meat Inspector’s Examination up to £940 pa.
