The Market Information Service of the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board reports that good trading early in the week at Smithfield, London, deteriorated later because of plentiful supplies of all commodities. New Zealand lamb was quoted at lower prices. Prices for New Zealand meat, ex hooks. Smithfield, in the week ended November 24, with the variation since the previous week, are quoted as follows: Canterbury Lamb First Quality: Var'n. d. d. per lb. per lb.
