East Christchurch Pigeon Club
The East Christchurch Pigeon Club flew a race from Gisborne, a distance of 450 miles. Because of strong southerly winds no birds homed on the day. R. Moore was the winner with a time of 16:28.20. Results were:— R. Moore, 16:2830: Mann and Anderson, 16:37.38; B. Partridge. 16:42.28; D. Anthony, 16:47.17: D. Anthony, 16:47.39: B. Partridge, 16:48.14; H. Courtier. 16:52.55; E. Graham, 16:53.6. Ladies' bracelet, R. Moore; nominated bird. E. Graham. Fifteen owners sent 63 birds.
